Gift Certificates

When you help new parents welcome their baby home with a gift of Parent Coaching sessions, you can be sure you are bestowing a gift of a unique experience. New parents are often nervous about their abilities to care for their baby. They need re-assurance that they are doing a good job. Parent Coaching sessions help parents feel secure as they learn about their child’s temperament, develop care-giving strategies, and increase their awareness of their own experience.
Gift certificates are available for any number of sessions. When planning to give a Gift Certificate, please keep in mind that the sooner the parent can schedule the sessions the better.  For example, if your best friend is due in February, you may want to give her the Gift Certificate in January at least four weeks before her due date.  This way, she will be able to schedule her first Parent Coaching session for a week or two after her due date. Similarly, if your sister-in-law is waiting to ‘get the call’ from an adoption agency, having her Gift Certificate in hand gives her the freedom to ask for help at a moment’s notice.
